The start of the route is in the coastal town of Cedeira, famous for its delicious barnacles.Just before reaching San Andrés de Teixido, you pass the San Antonio Guard Gate, the Purrido Viewpoint and the Candieira Lighthouse. Once in the Serra da Capelada,the environment becomes magical. One of the most famous popular legends of Galicia says that: “vai de morto o que non foi de vivo.” From this point, the tiny white granite houses stand out with the intense green of the forests, the image of the cliffs and the rough sea.

  • Mariña Lucense.

Located in the province of Lugo, this coastline stands out for its landscapes of contrasts and cliffs, we highlight three geographical features: Punta Fuciño do Porco,the Paper Cliffs in the vicinity of Punta Morás, and the surroundings of the beach of the Cathedrals, in Ribadeo. The incredible cliffs of Punta Fuciño de Porco can be explored along a wooden walkway.Secondly, The Paper Cliffs have more than 6,000 years of history about 32 meters high, they seem sculpted in strange shapes, like Japanese origami.   • Costa da Morte

In this magical corner of Galicia, the surroundings of the town of Muxía stand out. From Mount Corpiño, Cabo Touriñán or Punta da Barca we can enjoy the best views of the rugged Galician coast and its large cliffs. Next, in Fisterra we will find the cliffs at the end of the world, the end point of the Jacobean route. The landscapes are wild, surrounded by immense sandy beaches and with a brave and infinite sea. The sunset from Cabo Fisterra gives us a dreamlike view of the immensity of the Atlantic Ocean and the spectacular cliffs.

  • Coast of Sailing and Cabo Silleiro

In the Rías Baixas area there are also cliffs, although smaller. Among them, those of Costa da Vela and Cabo Silleiro stand out, their landscape and natural value is a must-see for any nature lover. The Costa da Vela is one of the wildest spaces in southern Galicia, located on the Morrazo peninsula, between the Vigo and Pontevedra estuaries, and with the small Aldán estuary as a backdrop.
